One that instantly comes to me is Zool. I have trouble with that game even when I'm trying to cheat through the ROM version.

Dynamite headdy, the terminator, zerowing and the golden axe games have that distinction with me.

For rpg's, phantasy star 2 is very difficult.

Phantasy Star 2...Even after nearly 15 years of playing that game I still struggle with it now...LOL :belj belj:

For me I would have to say phantasy star 2 as well, hell I'd have to say that's the only one I ever had problem with, well that and IllBleed, besides that all others I found rather easy....that i played anyways.

I forgot about the Golden Ax series. Also Comix Zone, which I never even came close to beating, lol. This Phastasy Star 2 everyone is mentioning I'm going to have to try it out.

I love Comix Zone, I think the game is awesome. So much fun, beat it atleast once.

The hardest game I have ever played, has to be Art of Fighting, I think what makes it very difficult is how the controls are, they respond slow as hell.

Its still a good game, but very very tough.
