Washington Redskins have agreed a contract with Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Robert Griffin III.
The second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft has signed a deal
reported by NFL.com to be worth a guaranteed $21.1 million over four
years with the option of a fifth season.
Griffin revealed on his Twitter account: "Well people... it's Time to

stands for Hail to the Redskins.
The 22-year-old played three seasons at Baylor and won the 2011
Heisman Trophy as the best collegiate player as a junior - and Redskins
coach Mike Shanahan has confirmed he will start when his team start
their NFL campaign at New Orleans on 9 September.
Over his career, Griffin amassed 12,644 all-purpose yards, including 10,366 passing, 2,254 rushing and 24 receiving.
