But the ex-Borussia Moenchengladbach ace opted for Stamford Bridge.
Marin said: “Chelsea is my dream club. I am happy I will get the chance. It is
a challenge for me.
“Tottenham were interested but I chose Chelsea as that fits perfectly.”
Marin was in the Germany squad for the last World Cup and on Spurs’ radar
after facing them in the Champions League last season.
