This is a hobby I take interest in, but some of you might not know much about it.

Romhacking is the modification of ROMs (Read Only Memory) or any other game files. It can include modification of music, graphics, text, programming, etc.

I myself have been working on translations, or modifying the game so that it's in a different language (for me Jap --> Eng). I don't do the actual translation, just the hacking part.

I wish I could get into this but I don't have the time or piece of mind. Oh, and I'm really dumb when it comes to these stuff.

I've always dream though. To hack up Final Fantasy 7 and make an Action game based around Cloud Strife that can be played on the N64 emulator. Is that even possible ???

Sadly no.
Honestly, at that level, it would be better to just make your own game then to try and hack one.
