Mark Boucher had to
leave the field with an eye injury during the afternoon session on the
opening day of South Africa's two-day tour match against Somerset at
Taunton.
The wicketkeeper was hit in the face when the ball ricocheted off the stumps as Gemaal Hussain was bowled by Imran Tahir.
Boucher was standing up to the stumps to the leg-spinner wearing a cap.
After
treatment on the field for a cut, he was helped off and taken to
hospital. His place behind the stumps taken by AB de Villiers.
