WWE.com is reporting that WWE Superstar Randy Orton has been suspended for 60 days.
Orton has failed the company's Wellness Policy for the second time in his career.
While Randy Orton has been suspended by WWE three times, (which includes
his current suspension) he has only violated the Wellness Policy twice
in his career. One of his suspensions was NOT due to a Wellness Policy
violation, so his current violation is only his second strike, which
does NOT result in termination from the company.
Its noted that due to his 60 day suspension, Randy Orton is likely to
miss the 1,000th edition of Raw, which takes place on July 23rd, and
emanates from his home town of St. Louis.
There's always a possibility that WWE could claim Orton was officially
suspended earlier than today, which could then clear him for Raw on
7/23, but that would mean the suspension would have to have gone into
effect as early as May 22.
